Our client is a well established heating, plumbing, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical engineering business and they are now looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to join the head office team.

This is a highly varied role where you will manage a designated portfolio of clients, contracts and projects, ensuring that all our team are fulfilled to the complete the works to clients satisfaction. The retention and development of contracts is key to the business and total quality management is a primary objective

Some of your duties will include

* Ensure that all contracts are manned to the agreed levels

* Manage the staff on all assignments to ensure that the operational delivery of the service is maintained to the highest standards and to the complete satisfaction of the clients

* Provide Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monthly client visit reports as required for regular review with the Director Wherever applicable measure performance indicators to ensure standards are constantly maintained/improved

* Manage the delivery of projects and contracts

* Any complaints must be brought to the attention of the Director, logged in accordance with the quality system and remedied in a timely and effective manner

* Provide clients with quotations and ongoing contract support.

* Monitor engineers absenteeism and performance standards and recruit staff

* Ensure that staff comply with Health and Safety requirements in all aspects of their work

* Regularly review all administrative and onsite works, quality procedures and endorse them paying particular attention to check call procedures

To be considered for this role you will have:

* Significant experience within an operational role

* Excellent client relationship management and influencing skills

* Demonstrate strong leadership skills and lead by example

* The ability to work well under pressure

* Solid organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and achieve tight deadlines

* Highly responsive and proactive, able to own tasks from start to finish

* Problem-solving and analytical skills

* Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation skills

* Excellent relationship building skills

* Commercial awareness
