As the Credit Controller, you will support the timely collection of customer receipts and minimise the risk associated with credit accounts in the business.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, your main duties as a Credit Controller will include but not be limited to;
*Chase overdue debt via phone, email or letter
*Allocation of cash
*Provide and manage a weekly cash forecast of cash receipts
*Build positive customer relationships
*Attend customer visits as and when required to help resolve account queries
*Negotiate payment terms
*Ensure the sales ledger is accurate
*Identify overdue accounts and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve the accounts as quickly as possible
*Credit check customer accounts and advise credit limits
*Complete sales ledger month-end procedures
*Meet KPI targets
*Ad-hoc duties to support the credit and risk team
The ideal candidate will have;
*Experience working as a Credit Controller in a fast-paced environment
*Great team player
*Advanced excel skills - vlookup, pivot tables and sumif
*Excellent communication both verbally and written
*Confident user of all Microsoft programmes
*Strong attention to detail with an ambitious drive to learn
