Responsible for all aspects of accounts preparation, month-end reporting and financial compliance for all entities
preparing and submitting the monthly management reporting pack, which includes detailed commentary on variances and identifying unusual movements/areas that require further investigation. Monthly reconciliation of payroll and pensions - working closely with the HR Manager and outsourced provider to ensure payments are accurate and timely.
Exporting purchase invoices to the accounting systems on a regular basis.
Reviewing weekly payment runs.
Reviewing financial controls and processes, and making improvements as and when required.
Preparing audit schedules and leading on the year-end audit. Assisting with the year-end consolidation and tax works.
*Must have previous of experience working preferably within an SME
multi-divisional or multi-currency environment
*Qualified either to ACCA, ACA or CIMA level or Part Qualified
*Very Good knowledge of Excel- able to work with reporting templates
*Be familiar with working with combined reporting systems
*Experience with foreign branches and subsidiaries
*Monthly reconciliation of payroll and pensions
*Be able to commute to London
*Ideally you must be available to start at short notice
