WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
You'll be working closely with the UK General Manager, meaning you'll be involved in all the local strategic decisions. You'll be looking to form a local MD/CFO type relationship, where you will have full accountability of the P&L. In addition to that, you have the opportunity to develop an Assistant Accountant. Supporting them through to qualification.
The business are looking to grow, the trajectory has been 25% growth YOY. With that level of growth they will be moving to a new, purpose built office and an opportunity for you to grow and expand the finance team.
You'll have full support from the GM as well as group support too. Including a 3/4 week on boarding period at group head office where you will be taught their processes, month-end and year end procedures as well as meet the board and senior leadership team.
The business also promote development, so if you decided you are looking for further academic qualifications, i.e. Prince2, Six Sigma, CTA etc...the business will be more than happy to invest in you financially to gain the qualifications as well as offer you the time to be able to study and take exams.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED?
The must have would be recent experience on SAP. The business use SAP as their main ERP and would like the successful candidate to have strong working knowledge on SAP, comfortably navigating their way around the system.
In addition, it would be beneficial for you to have the following experience:
- Process daily financial transactions and manage supplier relationships
- VAT returns
- Manage company cash flow
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Financial analysis, offering insight and commentaries to Group Financial Controller
- Produce month-end management accounts, working to a 3/4 day deadline
The successful candidate will be rewarded with
- Up to £60k basic salary
- 23 days holiday plus statutory increasing to 28 after 5 years
