As Area Sales Manager You'll be working with great forward thinking people and a strong team around you, you'll be working for and alongside some of the very best in the game. With more experience and knowledge of their products than anyone, it's a great place to be.
This particular role you'll be the face and eyes and ears of the business in the Oxford, Berkshire, Hertfordshire region. You'll be dealing with all the Major and Independent Builders Merchants and developing and managing existing accounts. There's no need for Cold Calling, all the accounts are there for you. You'll have plenty of customers to go at so being organised and efficient is just as important as being a real people person with a positive outgoing attitude.
Ideally you'll of sold heavy building products into these channels already although if you've dealt with Travis Perkins, Jewsons, Buildbase or any independents such as Huws Gray, MKM or the FORTIS / NBG members selling different products this'll leave you in good stead.
This is a great career opportunity, many of the team have gone on to become Key Account Managers, Regional Managers and even a Sales Director here in the past, once you're in you won't need to consider other options externally providing you put the work in!
