B.S. Chemical or Mechanical Engineer degree with 4+ years experience in a production environment and analysing production data using SAS Visual, Power Bl, Tableau, or DOE. Candidates could come from batch processes such as chemicals, foods, pharmaceuticals, electronic materials or mechanically oriented processes. Pluses would be, development of new processes, implementation of new technologies and Allen Bradley PLC experience.
Our client is a flourishing producer of high purity electronic materials who invest in state-of-the-art technology and have multiple U.S. production facilities, as well as sites in Japan, Korea, and China. This person will be based at the company headquarters, which is an impressive facility that houses production, research, tech service and sales. Most of the work will primarily support the Chicago site, but this person will also help in the support of other U.S. and Asian production plants, though will only require minimal travel. The primary responsibility is to use SAS and computer modelling to analyze data being transmitted from Allen Bradley PLC controls and field instrumentations for the purpose of optimizing the plant's ultra-clean processes, which utilizes mixing, blending and extrusion. This person would work with in-plant production engineers to implement process changes and equipment upgrades derived from computer modelling.
