Internet of Things Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as a senior Cybersecurity risk analyst and subject matter expert to a senior DoD client with a focus on Cybersecurity risk management, including the integration of Cyber disciplines, such as mission assurance and non-traditional IT Cybersecurity, with focus on Internet of Things (IoT) and industrial control system (ICS) Cybersecurity. Assist a DoD client with the technical development of security overlays and implementation guidance for IoT technologies. Analyze, provide technical content, and contribute to the development of strategy, policy, governance, and implementation guidance for Cybersecurity risk management. Work closely with defense and military stakeholders to ensure approaches, constraints, and perspectives are fully comprehended and considered in risk management and policy decisions. Help to track implementation efforts across Combatant Commands, services, and agencies to support the warfighter and promote a Joint enterprise of information systems and networks. Communicate policy and technical requirements to senior government officials and high-ranking military personnel in the form of briefings and whitepapers.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in the Cybersecurity or information assurance field

-2+ years of experience supporting IoT, SCADA, or industrial control systems (ICS) technologies

-2+ years of experience with supporting Cybersecurity risk management efforts in the US government (USG)
-Experience with developing security requirements, overlays, or implementation guidance

-Experience with developing and presenting complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences or USG leadership
-Knowledge of USG Cybersecurity policy, governance, and industry standards around non-traditional IT Cybersecurity

-Active Secret clearance

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with working at the Defense or Service staff level

-1+ years of experience with developing Cybersecurity or IT policy and guidance

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-CISSP or CISM Certification preferred

-DoDI 8570-Compliant Certification
