This maintenance technician will be responsible for ensuring a maintenance schedule adherence to the highest level as well as driving down breakdowns by reviewing all line stoppages, utilizing CMM's and engineering logs to propose and implement actions to prevent recurrence.
The Technician will also need to take a proactive role in EHS activities in regards to safe operations and maintenance of production lines, this will involve conducting risk assessments and company make-it-safe procedures.
Further responsibilities will include:
Conduct routine PPM's on production lines and systems.
Maintain and update log books/asset history.
Sign of work orders when required.
Ensure correct and effective use of the engineering stores.
Support continuous improvement activities, to include data gathering an design studies.
Ensure quality, health & safety and GMP are considered in all aspects. This position is base day shift but may include some shift cover throughout the contract duration, a shift up lift in rate will be provided when needed to do so.
Experience working within a FMCG environment is essential.
Qualified with apprenticeship in mechanical engineering/maintenance or equivalent.
Experience working in the health care or pharmaceutical environment in highly beneficial but not essential.
Knowledge of Lead Sigma Tools and CMMS is also highly desired.This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable company within the UK, where your ideas and experience will be valued.
