The company

Westways Vending is a well established, highly successful, rapidly expanding family run business based in Sussex. They specialise in providing fully managed and self managed vending solutions to companies based in Sussex, Kent and Surrey. An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experienced field sales executive based in our trading area throughout Sussex, Kent and Surrey to join them as Area Sales Executive.

The role

Predominately home-based with full office support, you will be responsible for bringing on board new business in addition to looking after and developing existing accounts. On a day to day basis you will be seeking out and securing meetings with senior managers from companies within both the private and public sector to sell them the benefits of having a hot drinks, and a snack/cold drinks facility on site for their staff. Following a detailed fact-find you will put together a solution that best serves their needs and present it in a second meeting where you will explain in detail all of the costs and the benefits with the aim of securing a 3-5 year contract to manage their vending business. Although selling vending machines is a big part of this role, selling the service that surrounds it is equally as important. This service includes the filling, cleaning and maintenance of the equipment over the contract period.

The Person

To be considered you will need to possess superb communication/negotiation skills and have a good eye for detail. With a proven and consistent track record of success gained within a competitive solution led business to business field sales role you will be used to generating and securing high levels of new business and growing an existing account base using a consultative solution led sales approach. An exceptional time manager you will ideally have experience of using a CRM system and be comfortable with Microsoft Office. We are looking for a money motivated self starter who is eager to be part of a company that prides itself on the personal service it provides to its customers and wants to be part of that success.

The Benefits

The rewards are superb and include a basic salary of £24K a realistic OTE in Year 1 of an additional £6K (which is uncapped), a fully expensed company car, laptop, mobile phone and 20 days holiday. A company pension and healthcare benefits are also available after the qualifying period
