An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an expanding international IT business solutions company working with both the public and private sector as a Major Account Manager. A competitive basic salary of £40k is on offer as well as uncapped commission (OTE £80k +) excellent benefits including 5 weeks holiday.

The successful candidate will have some experience selling a technical product range either in an IT reseller or Telecoms provider. You will be results driven and keen to succeed for both yourself and the business. You will ideally have knowledge of selling some of the following product types; Data Centre Solutions, Print/Document management, Software Licensing, Cloud based storage solutions and Desktop IT. Experience of managing major accounts is desirable but previous IT/Telecoms sales experience is essential.

Your role will include:

* Managing a number of major accounts selling IT Hardware, IT Consulting and IT Services

* To build successful relationships with all customers, ensuring that pre and post sales team are all engaged in the right manner.

* To be able to work independently as well as in a multi-tiered dedicated account management team

* To pro-actively manage accounts following the companies CRM model, ensuring that all activities are logged accordingly

* To ensure that forecasts are maintained on an up to date and timely basis, with accurate updates as required

* To builds strong relationships with key vendors and their associated client managers

* To manage an Internal Account Manager who undertakes the sales administration function

* To work closely with the pre-Sales team and commercial overlay team to build compelling and credible proposals for presentation to the customer

* To liaise with the appropriate back office teams and ensure that the solution can be delivered according to the customer’s expectations

* To ensure that any commitments are followed up and that all the stakeholders are bought into the agreed deliverables

* Any other duties and responsibilities as required by the Sales Manager
