We are looking for a

Lawyer / Senior Editor Practical Law (f/m/d)

full-time or part-time based in Frankfurt or any other location in Germany.

The new role is part of the continued investment in and development of Thomson Reuters EU member state legal content. The role holder will be required to write and review new content for our online legal know-how services, maintain existing content ensuring that all content is of the quality and scope that meets business objectives and the needs of customers.


  • Researching, writing and delivering well-written, up-to-date content for online publication that reflects current market legal practice
  • Keeping up to date with law and market developments
  • Responding to questions from customers about our published content and international / EU member state legal practice
  • Developing relationships with third parties with a view to obtaining contributions of content or insights to improve content
  • Supporting marketing and sales and other parts of the business to ensure delivery of business objectives
  • Attending training, events and conferences

  • Relevant professional experience in an inhouse legal department or law firm in one or more of the following areas: Corporate law, Finance law, Commercial law, Financial services regulation
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English are mandatory
  • Experience in producing well-written practical legal content for publication and/or teaching
  • Knowledge of technology to create and disseminate online content
  • Experience with legal research databases
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • German law degree (Bachelor / Master of Laws or Lawyer with first / second state examination)
