A once in a lifetime opportunity, the HR Manager will join the organisation prior to product launch, operating at a senior strategic level, as well as having the opportunity to create and grow a fully-functioning HR Department, as the organisation expands multi-nationally.
Job Description - HR Manager
Role / Responsibilities:
Provide essential input to the Board, in respect of strategic decisions which will shape the overall organisation as it grows.
Act as a trusted resource and main point of contact to employees for all HR related issues
Create and administer various HR activities & programs like on/off-boarding, performance evaluations, benefits, payroll, and more
Introduce and manage employee wellness programmes
Partner with leaders at all levels to coach and provide guidance on diverse and challenging employee issues
Partner with different leaders to promote an atmosphere of diversity and inclusion, identify gaps and opportunities for improving HR business processes
Work closely with our external recruitment partner, to ensure the right people are being sourced and recruitment deadlines are being met
Assist with business operations projects as neededSkills / Experience:
You have the ability to adapt your approach and pivot your skillset day to day from strategic, high level program implementation to granular in the weeds day to day work
You believe that good HR is more than just compliance and checking off regulatory boxes; it's about deeply understanding business needs and developing a thoughtful strategy to solve company issues and drive the business forward to meet its goals
You're experienced with the nuts and bolts of HR including benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, legal compliance, federal and local employment laws
You love wearing multiple hats and owning different projects outside the HR scope
You are an advocate for employees and are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people from different backgrounds can succeed
You've got a real interest in staying in the know with Tech and you are genuinely interested in hiring the best possible people you can.
You can uncover technical aptitude and are able to distinguish between good and average candidates.
You're organized, super self-driven, can deliver and have a "get stuff done" attitude.
You are a person that prides themselves on possessing strong emotional intelligence

Experience in technical recruiting is highly desired as would experience in a start-up or fast growing company where you would be working closely with and alongside leadership and executives.Requirements:
A relevant HR / Business degree
At least 8 years' relevant industry experience with at least 5 years' spent in Medical Technology organisations
