Main Responsibilities of the role
* Responsible for key accounts as agreed by the Engineering Manager
Develop sales and working relationships within their own key accounts and visit clients as regularly as possible to ensure a quality customer care
Work with customers to develop the product concept and its specifications
Work with the customer to develop tailored proposals for their needs including quotations, draft drawings, samples etc.
Are responsible for design, using computer-aided design software applications and present ideas and drawings for clients
Modify design at stages before the product is ready for manufacturing to ensure performance specification as required.
Develop quotations with CSP administration
Present final proposal to the client and follow up for Sales Orders
If needed, create prototypes of the products that have been developed and make design improvements based on prototype testing.
Installation, operation and commissioning as required by the client so as to ensure that the equipment is installed and functioning according to customer specifications
Provide engineering, project and after sales support to the client
Generate new sales where possible to develop new accounts
Support trade show activities
Desired Experience and Background of the successful candidate
Level 7 or Level 8 Engineering Degree or equivalent
Ideally 2 + years' experience but not essential
Ability to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment
Self-motivated with demonstrated project management skills
Excellent communication skills including presentation skillsDesirable Skills
Pharmaceutical, Bio-Pharmaceutical or Food Manufacturing experience
