Job Title: Fully Funded Environmental/Renewable Energy/Architecture /Engineering Assistants Work Experience in Seville (Spain) and Marseille (France)
DSC Regen offers a range of 92-day PAID work experience placements within the environmental management and biological/ecological sectors, as part of the Erasmus+ work experience programme, funded by the European Union. We are now recruiting for environmental management positions in Seville (Spain) and Marseille (France) starting in January 2020.
There are several different types of placement available, such as Renewable Energy Assistants, Environmental Education Development, Project Support orientated placements, Architecture and Renewable Energy Engineering positions.
These paid placements are 3 months in duration and will enable participants to develop experience and practical skills as well as offering language tuition to develop their Spanish and French language skills and understanding of the destination country.
Participants will also work towards our Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
Flights to Seville and Marseille will be mid Jan 2020 preceded by a few days of preparatory training in London (exact dates on website )
In order to support you during your work placement DSC Regen will provide you with the following:
•€120 per week subsistence allowance
•Shared accommodation (own bedroom, shared living spaces such as kitchen, bathroom)
•Flights to and from your destination (including airport transfers on arrival your host city)
•Travel medical insurance for the duration of your stay
•Ongoing support and local pastoral care for the duration of your stay
Preparatory training is provided pre-departure incorporating language tuition and practical and cultural information. Participants receive a subsistence allowance of €120/week and the cost of flights, insurance and accommodation are funded directly by DSC Regen.
As part of this placement experience you will also complete a Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management accredited by IEMA.
Positions are open to anyone between 18-64 years of age who are looking to expand their skills and enhance their future employability within these sectors. A good level of social awareness and a keen interest in Environmental work is required.
For some positions no previous knowledge of Spanish or French is required whereas for others intermediate or advanced levels are needed.
Interviews are completed on a rolling basis until all positions are filled. There are 10 positions available. You are advised to submit your application early.
