    Our client focuses on research, development, design, manufacturing and sales of Client Computing Devices (CCD) for the global PC market. We are now establishing a new Research & Development Center in Germany to support our customer base in Germany and Europe. The new subsidiary will provide technical expertise and responsiveness on technical specifics in Germany and across Europe and offers differentiated, high quality, stationary CCD products including its related accessories. Our Center is planned to commence operations in April 2020. To support this company expansion, we are looking for an HR Specialist (m/f/d) for our new site in Augsburg at the earliest possible date. Our future HR Specialist has already gained initial experience in HR operations and is passionate about being part of a start-up type environment.

  • Lead and steer the local HR Operations to support a ~130 employee company
  • This includes vendor steering of the outsourced Payroll services
  • Design HR processes and policies, governance structures and establish a lean HR service delivery
  • Partner with the parent company in Japan on the strategic HR agenda and HR priorities
  • Partner with senior local management on all HR related topics acting as an advisor and translating business requirements into HR goals and actions
  • Lead any HR projects related to the set-up of the new company
  • Cooperate with the works council on new company agreements and manage works council interactions
  • Collaborate and leverage leading practices with HR experts within the Lenovo Group
  • Ensure legal compliance within HR management
  • Lead and guide one local HR specialist in day-to-day operations

  • Interest (and ideally experience) in the development of a new company
  • University degree in Human Resources, Labor Law, Economics, Management Engineering, or equivalent
  • Relevant professional work experience
  • Strong HR Operations experience
  • Experienced professional with in-depth HR expertise of all core human resources topics including works council negotiations
  • Good legal knowledge (individual & collective employment law)
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of HR, HRIS and organizational projects
  • Profound Project Management and Change Management expertise in an M&A context will be an advantage
  • Customer focused, hands-on mentality and flexibility
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent English and German language skills (written and orally)
