Inviting applications for the role of Calypso Developer-Calypso Back office

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development or enhancements in Calypso for Core Engineering applications.
  • Responsible of rolling out change in production
  • Write excellent code, familiar with Software Craftsmanship (JUNIT, TDD, Refactoring) and Quality Control (Sonar) tools.
  • Develop Technical specifications
  • T0 Engage with Client in requirement gathering, Status update on deliverables, UAT and be the key stakeholder in the overall engagement.
  • Be available to support application tickets as they come in JIRA
  • Understand how to access and use JIRA for tickets and user requests
  • Work with stakeholders to confirm, validate, understand or clarify the User requests or enhancement requests
  • Be aware of all stakeholders and communicate with them effectively on their tickets and status of production issues
  • Understand the build process and release process for enhancements and bug fixes to be rolled out in production
  • Understand customer needs and their translation into application functions.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications

BE/B. Tech/ MCA/BCA

Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills

Experience: 5 - 7 years

Preferred qualifications

  • Should have excellent written/ verbal communication skills (English business communication)
  • Excellent email etiquette & writing skills
  • Should have experience of working with international users
  • Ability to adapt & implement process changes
  • Should have excellent problem-solving capability and technical aptitude to resolve incidents
  • Eye for detail and business acumen
