We are Stryber - the largest independent corporate portfolio builder in the DACH region. We help our clients launch portfolios of new digital ventures from scratch (and fix the strategy behind it) as well as build our own ventures.

Our approach

First we define meaningful strategies, then we build web/mobile prototypes and MVPs to test and iterate business ideas quickly in the market. Later, we scale and grow the most promising ones to let them become leading solutions in their market. Simple click-dummies, rapid MVPs, and sophisticated deep-tech (SaaS) solutions, we have a variety of start-up projects ahead of us in several exciting verticals, such as FinTech, PropTech, Digital Health, Food & Beverage or MarTech.

Your role

  • Act as a coach for managers and employees with all sorts of people- or career-related questions
  • Achieve excellence in hiring and build a great employer brand
  • Establish best-in-class Talent Retention
    • Work with the management team to maintain and improve the environment of transparency and open communication. Work with the team on supporting and developing Stryber's already strong culture
    • Become the person of trust and expert for the personal development of each Stryborg
    • Have an excellent sensitivity for the balance between Stryber business goals and personal goals of individuals
    • Collect and analyse quantitative as well as qualitative data to track engagement metrics, and anticipate opportunities and challenges
    • Develop and implement diverse Talent Retention initiatives
  • Understand what Talent Development means at Stryber and help us become a world-class employer
    • Manage and continuously improve our transparent Performance Management to challenge and develop each Stryborg
    • Identify learning and development needs to develop and organize training and learning opportunities
    • Identify trends and patterns of behaviour, best practices and pain points within different teams
    • Design and deliver tailored people programs that address those pain points and needs to support overall business goals
  • General HR Topics
    • Lead a team of experts in Talent Management
    • Conception and implementation of the HR strategy according to Stryber's vision
    • Set up and maintain a first class reporting
    • Plan budgets for all talent topics
    • Introduction and optimization of HR tools and processes
    • Develop hiring plans and set recruiting strategies to achieve goals
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with outstanding academic results
  • At least 5+ years of broad experience in HR, Talent Management, Employer Branding, Talent Retention and Training and Development
  • German and English language skills on a professional level
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment with a strong people focus
  • Ideally work experience with OKRs
  • Demonstrated ability to support and consult the internal stakeholders around all people related topics
  • Analytical, data-driven, and result-oriented mind-set
  • Strong ability to work outside traditional functional silos and build relationships across the organization
  • Strategic and innovative thinker with the ability to transform strategies into executable projects and tasks
  • A personality of complete and indisputable integrity, honesty and empathy, functioning as a go-to person for the entire team
  • Excellent communicator in German and English with the ability to present views in a clear and compelling manner
  • A great listener that knows how to induce action
  • A lifelong learner, flexible, and able to cope well with changes
