Shift Maintenance Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to take on a new challenge with a global automation specialist. You'll be working with state of the art machinery within a fully automated distribution environment, where you'll be applying your trade across electrical & mechanical engineering.
The Shift Engineer will effectively solve mechanical and electrical faults and provide planned, preventative maintenance to ensure maximum availability of machinery. You'll need to be able to read electrical schematics, work on 415v motors, drives, inverters and fault find across PLC. Knowledge of Pneumatics & Hydraulics is beneficial.
You'll take ownership of breakdowns, ensuring remedial action and future preventative measures are in place.
To be considered for this opportunity you will be apprentice trained and trade qualified in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment such as Food, Beverages, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Medical Devices or Warehouse Automation Systems is key.
A salary in the region of €41,500 is on offer (including shift premium) and involves working on a Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts.
