Our UT Health Tyler hospital is seeking an experienced Echo Songrapher. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in our Echocardiology department where you will be responsible for:
What You Will Be Doing:
  1. Perform Transthoracic, Transesophageal and Stress Echocardiograms for adult patients
  2. Evaluate and assist in the operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
  3. Collect and distribute documents relevant to procedures and other clerical items to ensure smooth, daily operations
  4. Maintain adequate departmental supplies
  5. Must know and follow departmental Policy and Procedures and practice Infection Control according to Universal Precautions

So what experience are we looking for in our Echo Sonographers?
  • CPR Certified Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire date
  • At least one year experience hands-on technical skills
  • Echo registry elligible per ICAEL standards
  • Knowledge and ability to operate equipment and perform ultrasound procedures
