About the school
We are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant on behalf of an exciting school, filled with inspirational teachers, support staff and motivated children; who are all working
together in order to enable the pupils to achieve their best.
Pupils in this school feel happy and secure, they are well motivated to achieve their best and are respectful and caring towards others. The staff are confident, enthusiastic and are given the support that they need from senior leaders to fulfil their potential.
The school is based in Oldham and is accessible via car or bus.
About the role
The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work across their Key Stage 2 Department, supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting children 1:1 and in groups, helping with social skills, emotional support and behaviour support.
The school are looking for somebody with a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, good behaviour management skills and previous experience of supporting children with SEMH needs.
