Hackney Council is looking for a new dynamic Delivery Manager/Scrum Master for our ICT Delivery Manager team to help us to drive innovation and enhance the Agile culture here.

We've got a ton of exciting products and services to deliver over the next two years and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of that team. Our new team member will act as an internal consultant working with teams across the Council, offering new skills, and supporting our vital public services across the borough.

Do you have experience in Agile methodology or similar project management contexts with a proven track record of applying it to address issues within any of your project lifecycles? Do you have extensive experience in managing third-party vendors?

You will be leading on Agile approaches for the team you work with, for example, leading Sprint planning meetings, Sprint review meetings and retrospectives, managing the Team's Trello board & Pipeline, cleaning and prioritising the backlog.

The Delivery Manager will play a key role in:

- Delivery and project management of our high priority projects

- Using Agile delivery methods to deliver great products and services at pace, including 'failing fast' where that is the right thing to do

- Managing multidisciplinary teams

- Developing effective, collaborative leadership

- Managing third party vendors

- Proven change management expertise

- Experience of working in complex business environments
