Director, Digital Marketing

We are looking for an innovative digital marketing leader to build and execute our digital transformation strategy. This role is an important leadership role to drive all aspects of digital demand generation including lead nurturing, marketing automation, SEO/SEM, display online advertising, and social media deployment. This role will have ownership to establish the processes and drive the execution of next-generation digital marketing programs for our business.
We operate in a fast-paced environment and the right leader will not only have solid digital marketing experience, but also can lead the change management processes necessary to drive new customer acquisition and retention models.
You will partner with the Director of Web Development & E-business to a deliver an industry best digital experience. Our ideal candidate will be a left brain/right brain balanced website professional who will oversee all facets digital marketing.
Build, plan and lead all digital marketing activities including lead nurturing, marketing automation, trigger-based emails, SEO/SEM, display online advertising, and social media.
Deliver and adapt digital content to meet customer needs and align with the customer journey, and our product suite.
Identify, test, measure, implement and optimize new growth tactics and marketing channels.
Identify and direct execution of SEO improvement opportunities across Tek.com and partner websites.
Manage and optimize a healthy global digital marketing budget.
Own and integrate global paid and organic search working with direct team, agencies and regional partners.
Drive strategy, investment and direct resources across the customer lifecycle to grow Tek's share of voice.
Create digital analytics best practices and standard executive level reporting methodology.
Leverage web analytics tools to identify trends and drive web improvements as needed.
Oversee the mining of data to assess the leading and lagging indicators of success for specific marketing initiatives: Are they making money? How much? How do you know?
Drive personal and targeted content via a multi-digital channel strategy to bring in high quality marketing qualified leads (MQLs), and nurture these leads into sales ready leads for transfer to the sales team.
Direct team of 8 digital marketing managers plus influence work of extended teams across the global marketing organization.
Recruit, develop and retain a high caliber, diverse team that can deliver consistent exceptional results and drive digital transformation.
Create and drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Create partner relationships with Customer Insights and Global Programs teams. Ensure you have the right relationships in place to scale digital operations business.
Develop and execute all future E-commerce marketing and merchandising initiatives to drive profitable online sales with our E-commerce customers and related analytics and reporting.
Develop a longer-term (3-5 year) roadmap to support other marketing initiatives, including email, paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing and retargeting/re-contact strategies that lead to conversion, loyalty and revenue growth.
Required Experience & Skills
10-15 years' experience in digital marketing, advertising, or consulting.
Seven (7) years of technical leadership managing multi-functional operations.
Excellent collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
Experience managing Paid Search, paid Social, Display and Email.
Experience managing a third party SEO agency.
Experience with personalization and content marketing.
Expertise in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics or similar).
Experience with testing/optimization/personalization platforms (Google Optimize, Optimizely, etc.).
Large scale site optimization project exposure is a plus.
Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, strong collaboration, willingness to learn, high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed.
Understanding of advanced digital marketing strategies.
Expert level knowledge of Google Analytics with strong understanding of Google Tag Manager and the tight integration between the two tools.
Experience with Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Adwords, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and display networks.
Deep experience conducting A/B and multivariate tests with a focus on conversion rate and UX improvements.
Strong understanding of analytics tagging specs and requirements with the ability to effectively communicate technical details to web development partners.
Experience developing and presenting enterprise level digital marketing reporting.
