Director, Marketing - B2B

Reporting to the Senior Director, this position is responsible for delivering the Brookfield Properties B2B strategy and increasing the value of all assets. The Director will be the main point of contact for the Leasing and Big Box department on sales materials and sales enablement tools, as well as establishing new lead generation opportunities. The Director will be a leader on the B2B marketing team supporting the development and execution of Brookfield Properties Marketing as well as the B2B marketing annual strategy.
Support the execution of a holistic Brookfield Properties B2B strategy supporting multiple stakeholders in the organization.
Partner with Business Intelligence & Strategy team to develop and implement branded materials to establish Brookfield Properties assets as best-in-class for trade shows, key retailer meetings and sales pitches.
Develop a deep understanding of our B2B target audience's unique perspective and needs in terms of marketing. Advocate for customer/tenant perspective representation in B2B content development and selling/pitching strategies across the organization.
Lead the integration and onboarding of new and innovative technology and platforms that impact internal stakeholders (Leasing, Development, Marketing, etc.) including managing project from start to finish, delivering results on tight deadlines, user adoption, feedback and recaps.
Ability to evaluate new and existing platforms, in partnership with Digital Platforms team, to ensure vendors are meeting requirements, that requested updates are being made and that these platforms meet and exceed the expectations of stakeholders. Provide ongoing training for this technology as needed.
Lead property redevelopment initiatives for the enterprise, collaborating with internal stakeholders (PR, Marketing, Leasing, Development) to ensure the impacts of these investments are maximized across our key audiences.
Support Leasing's selling tools through both traditional sales channels and innovative technology platforms helping this department establish the selling tools of the future.
Partner with Creative and Branding VP and Director to develop Brookfield Properties' B2B brand story with supporting materials for both consumer and B2B programs.
Manage corporate rebranding projects for the enterprise across digital and print solutions as well as internal channels.
Serve as B2B brand champion, ensuring brand guidelines and corporate (or appropriate) voice & tone are maintained across all channels and developed assets.
Manage and improve process and digital platforms used to create, capture and develop content used for sales materials and other channels including web, email and social.
Support the day-to-day strategic and digital marketing for B2B efforts, across enterprise technology platforms including social media, website and email marketing.
Communicate effectively across all business functions including Leasing, Asset Management, Development, Corporate Marketing and Corporate Communications.
Be an expert in project management, managing multiple projects and workflows from RFPs, vendor interviews, timelines, leadership alignment, estimates/budgets, QA/testing, meeting deadlines and proving the impact and value of B2B support.
Collaborate with Channel and Insights teams to identify the appropriate metrics, analytics and reporting to gage performance on programs.
Support CMO and Senior Director, B2B Marketing with leadership of the B2B team with projects as they are assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
+2-4 years of experience with Retail
+5 years of experience with B2B Marketing
+8 years of experience in Digital Marketing
Deep knowledge of shopping center/retail industry
Strong collaborative attitude and the ability to balance the perspectives and requirements of multiple cross functional partners and external stakeholders in order to create alignment.
Superior interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with well-developed organizational skills, including the ability to multitask while completing projects on-time, simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to rapidly digest and analyze data for reporting results and performance to stakeholder, providing recommendations on marketing programs, campaigns and strategies in a simple, understandable format.
Confidence and ability to cold call retailer's corporate offices to gather contact or other information.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to enterprise software and platforms like Salesforce, Adobe Experience Manager and Sprinklr.
Strong creativity and forward-thinking mindset to see the big picture and long-term opportunities for the company.
Ability to build long-term relationships both internally with cross functional teams and externally with retailers and business partners - highly approachable; relatable plus an ability to inspire.
High level of professionalism and ability to interact and correspond with senior Brookfield Properties and retailer leadership.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) and Mac.
