Director, Marketing Operations

The Marketing Operations Director is a core member of our marketing leadership team and will be responsible for all aspects of marketing performance management, technology, operations, and process. With the goal of optimization, you'll standardize our operations by defining, documenting, governing, and streamlining our marketing processes. As the owner of our marketing data, you will manage data collection, reporting, and refinement to align with our overall business goals. You'll also manage marketing budgets and inform strategic planning at the department and company levels. You will develop, implement, and maintain the technology stack required to support marketing strategies, working closely with Sales Operations to ensure sales system interoperability. Partnering with Business Intelligence and Data Science teams, you will define marketing performance metrics, deliver dashboards, provide actionable performance insights, and steer the development of lead scoring and propensity Organizationels that will be instrumental in achieving Newsela's business goals. You'll also be partnering closely with the Chief Customer Success Officer, VP of Sales and Sales Operations team to build a pipeline management practice that spans all demand sources and market segments, establishing the metrics, processes, roles & responsibilities, SLAs and actionable insights that ensure Newsela is achieving its overall pipeline objectives.
