International IT Sales Director

The Logicalis Group have been growing its international business over the last number of years and we now are looking to bring an International Sales director into the business to run the International Sales Operation, as the growth opportunities accelerate. This role would report directly to the Group VP International Sales.

The International Sales Director will have responsibility for international sales and performance, across all of the operations of Logicalis and ensuring that the US business is supported in its execution of International growth. The incumbent will also be a key global contact for many global accounts and vendors. They will have an entrepreneurial approach to enterprise sales and the ability to capitalize on market trends and opportunities, strategic sales and account management, and demonstrable experience in selling IT solutions on an international scale.

They will be a highly visible leader across the sales teams, supporting all the regional operations and providing active executive sponsorship where necessary in the market. They must develop and then lead a robust, process-driven international sales business. They will need to energise the sales and account management teams across the group and prioritise their attention on the most meaningful deals.

It is critical for the International Sales Director to be able to integrate well, both culturally and commercially, with the key Group and region stakeholders, as well as building a strong relationship with other international sales stakeholders around the operations.

More specifically, some of the key responsibilities will be:

Execute and work through the teams to drive aggressive pipeline growth of new international business across the Group.
Build and enhance trusting relationships with existing International clients at C level to ensure extended and profitable business, as well as create awareness and demonstrate the value of the propositions.
Coach and develop the Regional International Sales teams and account managers, as well as directly liaise with the Group Operations Manager for International Sales.
Provide accurate international sales forecast information for the whole group by driving operational compliance and efficiency through use of eCRM within the regions.
Deliver across a balanced scorecard of targets for the group (annual revenue and profit targets) while developing a long-term strategy for growth.
Central point of management for escalations.
Resolve inter-regional disputes effectively and fairly.

Leadership experience in international sales.
Proven track record of execution and performance excellence in a dynamic business environment. Demonstrated experience of business and market development, including complex sales business-to-business cycles.
Experience of successfully managing global account client relationships at the executive level.
Experience of collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions and sensitive to cultural differences.
