Manager, Marketing - Institutional

The Marketing Manager will support the Sr. Director Marketing & Analytics in the daily management and profitability analysis of the institutional portfolio. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assessment of direct and indirect sales, ASPs trending, development of product budget and monthly financials. A high level of collaboration with cross-functional departments to support portfolio initiatives that drives growth and mitigate losses. This individual will be responsible for the analytics and strategic planning of both product and customer strategies. Customer and market dynamics knowledge is required to support strong marketing/business strategies.
Responsible for monthly product budget performance against the Institutional portfolio business target. Support marketing liaisons with executive summaries for supply & operations, month sales performance and customer compliance trends. Evaluate monthly chargeback data performance and maintain current financials for the portfolio. Execute monthly marketing analytics and portfolio performance reporting to support executive meetings.
Responsible for the successful execution of new institutional product launches; financial modeling, assessment of market data, cross-functional collaboration to support successful commercialization of products, customer launch strategies and post launch performance tracking. Monthly forecast with inputs from field sales team, to support forecast accuracy and drive compliance, while monitoring external market conditions.
Support field sales with customer business reviews, sales analytics and presentations. Actively engage and collaborate with Retail and Specialty teams to support expansion of portfolio offering. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support on-going product and business needs of the Institutional portfolio.
Assess and provide guidance for product attributes, prioritization of product presentation and product related inquiries from cross-functional teams. In addition, act as a liaison and subject matter expert for the institutional segment that supports growth of the portfolio.
Adhere to corporate compliance, timely submission of expense reports, timely travel planning and completion of required training.
Performs other functions as required or assigned. Complies with all company policies and standards.
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Marketing or Business major preferred - Required
Master Degree (MBA) - Preferred
7 years or more in Experience Details - Product management, budgeting, project management, new product launches in pharmaceutical industry; generic institutional experience is a plus.
Strong marketing skills, business acumen along with outstanding analytical skills. - Advanced

Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, pricing, contracts, operations, legal, regulatory and business development with ability to apply knowledge to management of daily responsibilities - Advanced
MS Office Suite, Advanced in Excel, IMS, Databanks, IPD and basic understanding of JDE & SAP
