We are Deposit Solutions, a Germany-based FinTech Unicorn. We are preparing to launch in the United States and need a National Sales Director for our New York-based team.

Deposit Solutions is the brains and machinery behind brands that connect more than 100 banks from 18 European countries to a base of over 30 million savers. Banks love us because we diversify their funding. Consumers love us because our technology helps them use a single account to choose from a broad range of savings products, rates, and maturities. We have mediated more than €20 billion worth of deposits in Europe and are preparing to replicate this success in the United States.

We are building the Deposit Solutions US team and are looking for a National Sales Director. As our New York-based U.S. Sales Director, you are responsible for selling to CEOs, CFOs, and treasurers of banks across the nation our unique solution. You build & foster relationships, lead the negotiating and closing of the prospective clients and - after closing - remain a key contact of our clients. As the overall relationship owner, you are responsible for customer acquisition, customer satisfaction and ongoing sales to the Banks in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Proactively source and close new bank partnerships
Build the US Sales function from the ground up and further develop our vision and strategy for the U.S. market
Negotiate deal terms with potential new partner banks and when successful, own the on-boarding process
Liaise with banks who use our platform to foster sustainable and healthy client relationships
Analyze market trends, the funding requirements and balance sheets of target banks, and provide input for the strategic development of our business
Ensure leads are adequately processed and supported
Manage, foster and grow ongoing client relationships
Requirements
At least 10 years of experience in sales, specifically selling to banks
Extensive experience in establishing and developing relationships with community & regional banks in the range of $10bn-$30bn in assets
An established network of C-level stakeholders in that segment that will enable you to hit the ground running
In-depth understanding of the funding, liquidity and treasury needs of regional and community banks
Experience in selling platform-based banking solutions or digital transformation services is a strong plus
A proven closer, with client references to back this up
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the US and to be based in NYC
Highly motivated and independent, with the ability to build the Sales function and team
