Corel is seeking a Director of Sales Operations to manage support functions essential to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the WW channel sales organization. Reporting to the VP of Global Channel Sales Operations, the Director of Sales Operations is a highly visible role responsible for driving growth strategies and ensuring the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled across the organization.

This position offers a significant opportunity to use innovative ideas to design, implement, document and manage processes that support business needs. This person is a proven leader with innate entrepreneurial and analytical abilities. An individual that is effective at leading through change management and with strong sales software/SAAS strategy experience.

Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively across functional teams (legal, finance, operations, marketing etc.) to develop and advance revenue visibility, increase sales productivity & accelerate shift to quality revenue

Work in Tandem with Sales members by providing support, opportunity sizing for our business, monitoring and sharing best practices

Participate in developing unified strategy, processes, and operating procedures to a growing sales organization

Execute assigned projects as needed and recommend and deliver process improvements

Lead a team of sales operations staff to track and manage the performance analysis/metrics of the sales organization using dashboards and reporting tools

Create, maintain, drive adoption of a sales KPI dashboard that quickly and easily shows the performance of the sales organization

Collaborate with the IT/DEV teams to define business requirements and solutions for all tools and deliverables that support the sales team

Conceptualize and define programs and processes that promote upsell, cross-sell, and increase recurring revenue in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Finance

Drive go-forward strategies and influence sales leadership via data driven determinations, recommendations, and outcomes

Conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data, and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations

Support administrative processes such as quota setting and compensation management

Provide coaching and development of direct reports to increase capacity, efficiency and effectiveness of roles. Prioritize team activities in alignment with business objectives

Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs

Infrequent travel, as required to company locations

Requirements/Skills:

10+ years of work experience in sales operations, strategy/consulting and/or operations roles

5 years experience directly leading/managing a team

Proven track record in Sales Operations management at a rapidly growing software company/SaaS environment

Strong project management skills

Extensive knowledge of Salesforce, Tableau, Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and NetSuite

Excellent business application skills (eg, Microsoft Excel, One Note, PowerPoint, Visio)

Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable conclusions

Ability to communicate effectively across all functions and levels of the organization

Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

Ability to partner, collaborate, and influence across a wide spectrum of functions and knows when and how to assert or influence business partners

Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills

Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations

Ability to deal with complex issues, understand drivers, and demonstrate excellent judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions

A desire to learn and grow your abilities

Highly Resilient, able to handle stress appropriately and maintain effective performance when facing pressure or opposition

Understanding of sales cycle and various sales and financial metrics

Fully adept at leading senior sales ops staff within a software sales environment, where the ability to lead change and drive outcomes with multiple stakeholder input/involvement is a must

Proven proficiency in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems of all levels of complexity, prioritizing critical client issues and identifying department needs

Education:

Minimum - Bachelors Degree required in preferably Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Finance or related field
