The Role

Manage all sales functions within the West Geography, attain aggressive top and bottom-line annual objectives via Strategic Growth Planning, and set the performance standard for the Team.

Strategic Account Management: 40% of Time

Serve as the primary contact for select accounts within the Geography
Lead annual strategic growth planning process and understand all aspects of P&L management
Forecasting and budget approval within geographic responsibility
Team Leadership: 30% of Time

Manage broker relationship from senior leadership level through to account management
Develop annual broker plans and accountability structure
Ability to staff and lead a direct sales team
Business Building: 15% of Time

Identify and prospect new channels and customers
Cross-functional Leadership: 15% of Time

Broadly represent sales customers and specifically represent territory in cross functional projects including:
Strategic planning
New product development
Account specific marketing
Actively contribute to building the organization in a high growth environment, elevate sales presence internally and create meaningful impact in the marketplace
What are we looking for?

Education:

BA/BS required; Master's preferred
Experience:

10+ Years of Sales experience within the CPG Industry
Must have extensive experience with national strategic accounts within defined channels
Knowledge and experience in working with both a broker driven and direct sales model
Skills:

Must be willing to travel extensively; over 25%
Independent, self-driven individual with the ability to build vs. manage
Creative with a desire for continuous improvement
