We are looking to fill a Director level national sales role with a food manufacturer in the North West that has experienced consistent growth. This position will report to the VP of Sales and work to promote a positive company culture. The Director will build/retain great team members while developing customer strategies and strong partnerships with customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify market dynamics, pricing trends & new customer opportunities
Lead team customer planning, optimize distribution, and manage trade budgets
Develop customer strategies & execution plans
Lead business planning meetings with customers & potential customers to establish business objectives
Develop solid customer relationships with key decision makers
Retain and recruit top sales talent that promotes a positive work culture
Lead food service & alternative channel team to deliver profitable revenue growth
Required Skills/Qualifications:
10+ years of sales experience in the food industry
5-7+ years' experience with alternative/food service channels.
Effective and timely communicator
Exceptional leader with strong cross functional skills & ability to build relationships
Strong influencer; able to motive and inspire
Proven history of driving execution and develop strategies
Understands trade investment performance dynamics
Able to balance cross functional concerns and customer demands in an ever-changing market place
Superior organization and time management skills
Able to collect data, analyze and draw effective conclusions
Able to travel 50%
