Leads the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of compensation programs, commission and/or incentive programs with focus on sales incentive plans. Acts as a subject matter expert and consults business management on optimal sales plan design in line with business strategy.

Job Responsibilities

Leads the design and implementation process of various commission and non-commission sales incentive programs.
Drives best practices for incentive compensation plan design (pay mix, metrics, weight & mechanics, etc.), implementation and communication ensuring sales incentive compensation plans align with business strategy and organizational goals.
Partners with business unit management and field operations teams to understand business drivers impacting various compensation programs and provide recommendations on key pay plans.
Partners with Finance, to ensure sales plans include line-of-sight business metrics and drive intended focus and behaviors to achieve financial objectives.
Partners with Legal regarding implementation and maintenance of compensation plan documents and other regulatory requirements.
Continuously drives implementation of processes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Plays an active role in administration of annual compensation programs including merit and short and long term incentive planning.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field
8+ years of progressive Compensation experience focusing on sales plan design and administration
Broad knowledge of base, incentive, and/or executive compensation principles and practices, including analysis, design, administration, and regulation compliance preferred
Skill and ability to apply consultative and influencing skills in a business environment
Strong communications skills, including delivering presentations
Attention to detail, analytical and financial modeling skills
Knowledge and skills to manage projects, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
