Director of Marketing, Interface Products

Annual Salary

Collaborate with sales and customers to maximize the market share of our existing products and to gain a keen understanding of future product needs
Partner with Systems and Design Engineering to create new product definitions and roadmaps that will offer value to our customers
Work with Applications Engineering and Marcom to generate the tools and documentation needed to maximize the value and impact of our leading-edge products
Manage product positioning and pricing of our current products at new and existing customers
Drive efforts for design wins and forecast revenue associated
Train sales, develop tools for the direct sales team and channel partners
Create close relationships with key decision makers at current and future customers
Maximize new product potential by developing, implementing and managing plans for product launches including documentation, sales collateral, presentations and positioning
For all new proposed projects, prepare Marketing Requirements Documents (MRDs) as well as Competition and Return-on-Investment (ROI) analysis for executive product proposals
Research and analyze market opportunities, trends, and competitive pressures to develop appropriate product management strategies and roadmap
Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between the needs of marketing and customers
Support preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts for financial and supply management
Regular travel for customer meetings
Direct involvement with Data Center, 5G and IoT applications, and experience running an interface product line
Developing roadmaps for products based on the following technologies: USB, PCIe, GPIO and RS standards

Required Skills

The candidate will have previous extensive experience with interfaces such as USB, PCIe, GPIO and RS standards and a history of specifying successful products in this area
Track-record of success leading aggressive, results-driven product management and product planning strategies and initiatives
Experience developing product roadmaps and extensive experience taking product from inception to commercialization, delivering on-time and the financial results targeted
Success influencing opinions and actions of key stakeholders within your organization, customer and partners
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including market research and data gathering
Ability to think/conceptualize independently and creatively
Strength in building and analyzing complex financial models
Excellent business judgment and ability to synthesize, analyze and extract implications
Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, including experience creating and making highly effective presentations to senior management
Strong organizational, project management, and execution skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and work effectively at all levels of an organization
High-performance orientation, commitment to continuous improvement, excellent follow-through, who is strategic and able to roll up your sleeves
Strong Excel, WORD and PowerPoint skills
Bachelors + 11 years of experience, Masters + 9 years of experience, or PHD plus 6 years of experience
