Marketing and Sales Director

Our Partner is looking for a commercially driven, results orientated senior marketing and customer experience professional with a proven track record in a B2C and B2B sectors including the highly competitive customer-focused retail, leisure, construction and sustainability sectors.

Demonstrating impressive strategic management, consumer & data insight, customer experience, digital marketing & data automation, campaign management, brand development and promotional development capabilities. Proven leadership, coaching and motivational skills and a passion for customer experience and an ability to influence and deliver at all levels

Established in 2006 HD Connectivity Ltd is an innovative home entertainment technology company, who under the brand name HDANYWHERE (HDA) specialises in the design, development and manufacture of high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) signal distribution equipment electronics, audio amplification and interconnectivity products, for the custom integration and installation market. HDA products are sold in 28 countries via a growing network of sales partners, with exports accounting for 40% of sales in 2018.

Marketing and Sales Director Job Description:

Responsible for the oversight and line management of HDA sales admin, tech support and operational staff. To be the primary contact person managing ongoing relationships with designated key HDA sales partners and distributors in the UK and other parts of the world. Ensuring HDA service levels to partners are always high, and in turn that the partners service level to HDA customers also remains high.

The role has a particular focus on supporting HDA sales partners in their endeavours to present and represent the brand and its products in the best possible way. Leading the development and delivery of both theoretical and practical product training, as well as brand guidelines and marketing support. Educating sales partners and the professional installers tasked with correctly specifying, designing, installing and supporting HDA multizone entertainment systems.

The face and voice of HDA - helping to raise brand awareness, improve product competency, create or improve relationships and increase sales with our partners internationally.

A senior management position with a heavy weighting on outreach and ambassadorial activities. Responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from promoting products or services, engaging with, encouraging and educating partners to represent the brand at launches and events. Involved in increasing brand awareness and sales by promoting products through various media channels, communicating the features, benefits and value of our products, tracking customer feedback and helping to shape/refine our customer offering to be better and better and better. Understanding and communicating the technical aspects and or benefits of the products to our partners. As per the continuous improvement process (CIP) that we apply to everything at HDA.

Marketing and Sales Director Core tasks:

* Monitoring and ultimately ensuring that support and service levels to HDA partners and customers is always of a high standard.

* Monitoring the sales process to ensure orders are processed and dispatching efficiently.

* Representing the company at industry events and trade shows.

* Liaising with key partners to assess and evaluate the need for competency training.

* Delivering classroom theory-based as well as practical field-based training courses.

* Authoring educational materials and training courses.

* Supporting partners on complex projects both pre-installation and post-installation.

* Influencing future product development.

* Authoring technical documentation and manuals.
