Full Stack .NET Developer - Greenfield - Strong Education - London Hedge Fund

PLEASE NOTE: No contractors or recent contracting history. Thanks!

My client is a systematic Hedge Fund based in London, driven by their focus and strengths in technology, research and analysis.

The firm requires an experienced software developer, proficient in C# on the .NET platform. You'll need to display a high-level aptitude for technology and be a skilled communicator in both written and spoken English language.

Work will take place alongside investment and programming professionals on an array of greenfield projects, where you'll be able to make an impact on the early phases of development processes. Create and maintain your own applications in the C#/.NET/SQL Server/ASP.NET world of technology.

The firm makes use of low level data processing, working with different data protocol and custom data organisation - from your classic JSON to binary streams. They implement known search algorithms in buffered data streams and integrate enterprise architect patterns in places where data processing meets database operations.

You can display your suitability for this role by having a strong education to Bsc level or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field from a top university.

WHAT'S REQUIRED:

  • Current experience in C# and the latest versions of the .NET platform
  • Database experience with SQL
  • Experience in Web Technologies (HTML5, CSS, JSP, ASP.NET)
  • Experience in multi-threaded application development
  • Exposure to Distributed Version Control
  • Strong foundation in Microsoft Technologies

To be considered for this role, please apply to Kyle Jones at Westbourne Partners ASAP.
