Austin Fraser are looking for a Product Manager to join a challenger brand start-up who are looking to revolutionize their industry and how you travel around major Cities in the UK and Worldwide.

You will be responsible for the product management and timely implementation of digital projects across their business. You will act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders through the project life cycle, gathering requirements, communicating goals and design briefs effectively and ensuring successful delivery of projects.

Projects may range from platform migrations, website and app builds and enhancements, commercial projects from single page advertorials all the way up to B2B and B2C websites which include multiple elements - data capture, bespoke content creation (articles, video), social media, email marketing, media-first promotional formats, surveys and more.

This is a very hands-on role and although you will have input from sales, editorial, design, and tech, you will be responsible for managing stakeholders (clients, agencies, third party suppliers and more) independently, successfully and profitably.

Key responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships
  • Digital project management through the project life cycle
  • Defining project scope, gathering requirements, agreeing/managing cost, creating project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Briefing editorial, creative and development teams
  • Managing the implementation and reporting
  • To create profit and loss accounts for each individual project and report on a monthly basis to the relevant accounts departments.
  • To schedule and attend photo/video shoots booked as part of a project.
  • Evaluation and QA of all projects
  • Seeking opportunities and generating ideas for clients and advising them accordingly
  • Accurate and timely financial management of projects including invoicing
  • Tracking and reporting on all key-performance indicators
  • Creating quick concise status update reports
  • Foreseeing and flagging any issues that may affect production deadlines, quality or profitability of projects

Knowledge Required:

  • Excellent understanding of the digital development process including communication strategy, creative and technical
  • Scrum, agile, waterfall and other project management methodologies
  • Web trends, eg HTML5 and responsive designs
  • Digital display advertising and content led creative solutions
  • Enterprise CMS systems
  • Google Analytics
  • Excel
  • SEO
  • Social media
  • IA and wire framing
