Communication and Policy Manager - (Communication/Policy/Stakeholder Engagement/Reporting/Information)

Methods require the service of a Communication and Policy Manager to work with our central government client on a fast-paced programme. As part of the stakeholder engagement team, the post holder is required to manage requests for information from internal departments and projects, gross government bodies ie cabinet office, HMRC and from ministerial units in the form of letters and parliamentary questions.

Specific role:

  • Manage the communications requests from internal and external government departments
  • Develop responses for stakeholder briefings and commissions requests
  • Manage approvals before submission
  • Work with exports programme teams to develop messages from subject matter experts
  • Manage the process for commissions ensuring information held and shared is accurate and current in this fast-moving environment
  • Manage the programme stakeholder narrative and Q&A
  • Be the link for internal communications across departments and projects

Skills/experience required:

  • Excellent written skills and attention to detail
  • Able to interpret complex information into consumable language for intended audience
  • Experience of writing reports, briefings, and presentations
