One of Badenoch and Clark's key clients is currently looking for an experienced Desktop Support Technician for an initial period of 3 months.

This position is to provide end user desktop IT support to staff within the Organisation. The role will involve supporting Service Desk, Desktop Technical Team and other support team crucial in the overall support to the Organisation. Work will be allocated to the desktop technician via the Service Desk and the expectation is that the desktop technician will own and manage allocated support calls. The job will involve the building, support and deployment of mobile technology and IT desktop hardware (Smartphones, Tables, Laptops and Desktop Computers).

One of the primary functions of this role (in addition to supporting the desktop/end user support team) is to facilitate the build and deployment of mobile devices; this encompasses smartphones, tablet devices, computers and laptops. For the smartphones/tablets, this means having an understanding and responsibility for maintaining the MDM solution.

*GCSE grade A - C (or equivalent) Maths

*GCSE grade A - C (or equivalent) English

*Experience of GPO's

*Microsoft Operating Systems; Evidence of working with and supporting MS Windows based O/S

*Hardware; Evidence of supporting multiple type of computer related hardware (desktops/laptops/printers/scanners)

*Mobile Technology; Should be able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of current mobile technology such as smartphones and tablet devices

*Provision of end user support; Should be able to demonstrate experience in supporting end users of varying levels via telephone and face to face contact

*Microsoft Windows Environment; Demonstrate experience supporting a Microsoft Windows based environment

*Working within a team; Demonstrate evidence of working as part of an IT Support Team

*End User Support; Should be able to provide evidence of having supported end users both face to face and via telephone

*Enterprise Support; Should have working in an Enterprise environment
