Schedule: Full Time; Days Monday - Friday 6:15am - 2:45pm / Must take call, work weekends and holidays (requires 30-minute response time)

Ascension St. John is a Trauma Level II hospital and staffs 24/7 to treat emergency and trauma patients along with scheduled procedures. We have 43 Operating Room suites and perform approximately 20,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries a year. As a Registered Nurse Circulator, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of procedures and techniques as we offer a variety of specialties and opportunities for professional growth. Specialties offered are: Cardiovascular, Vascular, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Urology (Kidney Transplant), Robots, Gynecology, Plastics and Eyes. Our RN's are offered an in-depth comprehensive orientation that allows them to train in every specialty ensuring they have the necessary tools and experience to be successful. Following orientation, you will transition to your specialty team.
As an Associate with Ascension St John, you will have the opportunity to facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures within the operating suite. As a valuable member of the Operating Room team, your expertise in the theory and application of nursing techniques and your combined knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies are used to facilitate a successful operation.

What You Will Do
As an associate with St John Health System, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will Need
- Required Credential(s):
- Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
- Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- None required.
