  • My client is looking for a talented HR Generalist to join the team in Cincinnati, Ohio. Candidates must have manufacturing experience.
  • Assists the HR Director in Administering various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; helps to prepare and maintain the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual(s). (updates as needed)
  • Assist the HR Director with the following areas:
    • Worker's Compensation
    • Unemployment Claims
    • EEOC Claims
    • OSHA Claims/Audits
  • Assist in new hire orientations
  • Assist HR Director with employee discipline issues and coaching opportunities
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars on occasion
  • Assist with various recruitment/employment tasks:
    • Interview scheduling
    • Position file maintenance
    • Pre-employment verifications
    • Reconciliation of recruitment related monthly billing
  • Interpret, analyze, and apply human resources policies and procedures and provide recommendations
  • Assist site leadership with performance management, recognition, and discipline
  • Handle employee relations counseling, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate corrective action and drafting disciplinary action documents, as needed
  • Investigate, resolve and communicate employee questions, concerns, and issues
  • Support administration of wage and salary programs pay practices, employee benefit programs, workers' compensation issues, and other HR services
  • Support employees and supervisors through the coordination of appropriate documentation, developing light duty job descriptions, and communicating and facilitating return to work
  • Identify, recommend and develop new approaches, policies and procedures that improve the efficiency within the department and services performed
  • Process terminations and participate in unemployment hearings and exit interviews as needed
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
