Here is an opportunity to work for a world class compiler toolchain team that leads the support for our clients architectures in the GNU Toolchain! We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing compiler toolchain and love open source software development.
GNU Toolchain is comprised of several open source projects such as GCC, Binutils, Newlib, Glibc, GDB. In the GNU Toolchain Team, we are responsible for enabling the future architectures in the toolchain while also ensuring the quality and the performance of the existing support.
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the team as well as collaborate with colleagues across the organization and with the open source community to come up with the best solutions for the problems that enables the future of computing. Your work will cover improvements to various parts of the toolchain such as compiler, Assembler, linkers, libraries, debugger.
What you'll need to succeed
Skills & Experience required:
. Engineering high-quality toolchain improvements
. Contribution to the open source software projects
. Excellent programming skills in C/C++
. Experience in developing compiler toolchain
. Experience in Linux software development environment
. Experience in developing, testing, delivering, and maintaining production-quality software.
. Dedicated and flexible, someone who is technically versatile, and can learn new skills that you can apply across multiple types of work.
. Experience in developing GCC
. Knowledge/Experience in open source software development and contribution processes and in working with open source communities
. Experience/Interest in line management, supporting your colleagues in their development.
