The IRB Analyst is responsible for managing the activities of the WakeMed Institutional Review Board. Responsible for the management, oversight, administration, implementation of policies and procedures related to the protection of rights and welfare of human subjects and review of research at WakeMed. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations applicable to research involving human subjects in all WakeMed facilities. Facilitates the day-to-day operations of the Institutional Review Board, by providing education on the protection of human subjects and submission process. Provides education to board members and researchers, and maintains IRB documentation. Acts as the WakeMed liaison for any on-site audits by the FDA, OHRP, etc.
3 Years Related Position Experience Required - And 5 Years Related Position Experience Preferred
Bachelor's Degree Required
Certified IRB Professional Required - Within 1 Year of Hire And Certified IRB Professional Preferred
