Manage the PR strategy for Coursera for Campus and Coursera for Governments; thoughtfully communicate Coursera's leadership role in equipping individuals and institutions with skills to navigate the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Develop PR assets such as press releases, blog posts, and briefing notes for major government and campus launches, partnership announcements, product news, and COVID-19 related initiatives
Grow the thought leadership program by driving keynotes, data reports, awards, and opinion articles
Collaborate with marketing and the extended enterprise teams to identify PR opportunities and secure government or university participation in PR initiatives
Coordinate initiatives with leading global institutions like the World Economic Forum, the World Bank, and the UNESCO
Manage agencies for key launches, setting press goals and driving global coverage for various announcements
Advise spokespersons on media interactions, effective messaging, and sensitivity to local issues
4-5 years of PR experience with leading technology, enterprise, or non-profit organizations focusing on public sector audience. A similar experience in leading PR agencies will also be considered.
Highly skilled in ideating PR strategies and aligning the approach with cross-functional teams
Proficient in developing simple, authentic, and inspiring messaging across an array of communications artifacts
Experience coordinating PR campaigns for governments and public sector institutions
Ability to manage senior executives and engage in the strategic planning process
A knack for using data and insights to power thought leadership and media conversations
Strong project and global agency management skills
Passion for technology-powered solutions to solve global challenges
