Vice President, FP&A

This experienced business executive will report directly to the EVP & Chief Financial Officer. The VP of FP&A will lead our Financial Planning and Analysis function responsible for all planning processes, including the annual plan, monthly forecasts, and long-range plans. The candidate will also have responsibility for investment decision analysis. You will partner and plan with the business to drive the right decisions through actionable insights and analyses.
You will have the opportunity to not only influence the forward-looking vision of the business, but also help grow the business through advanced financial modeling and development of business cases for strategic growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience building and growing teams. The VP of FP&A will lead a team of approximately 15 plus a number of other dotted line reporting relationships across the full CFO organization.
Drive the annual operating plan and monthly and quarterly forecasts for worldwide bookings, revenue, margins, operating expense, headcount, capital, and cash.
Provide the financial reporting, analysis and metrics to ensure the business teams are managing to the NetApp business model, with respect to strategic, operational and compliance activities.
Provide financial models and analysis which will guide the organization to make decisions that drive to the best ROI for the company.
Drive and manage the financials for mergers and acquisition strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships with various enterprise functions within NetApp in order to optimize compliance, accounting and reporting efficiencies.
Prepare Board of Directors and CEO Staff presentations and analysis
20+ years of experience leading a finance function, including global experience and people management
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA a plus
Experience with recurring revenue and subscription business models at a SaaS company, a must
Strong leadership skills and proven ability to build high performance teams that can operate in a high tempo and dynamic environment
Experience managing the business planning function for a worldwide technology company
Experience supporting new business models and ancillary revenue streams
Track record of close partnership with C-suite/senior level executives
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization
Be a thought leader who challenges the status quo and develops workable solutions in an existing culture
Have proven ability to think strategically and plan effectively; be detailed, results oriented, while managing multiple tasks against deadlines
