The Vanguard 2.2.1 Process Manager supports the Vanguard 2.2.1 program for the Department of State's Information Resources Management (IRM) bureau. Under the Vanguard 2.2.1 contract, Company provides information technology (IT) services across IRM's global operational network infrastructure. The Process Manager will report to the Vanguard 2.2.1 Service Line Lead supporting the Office of the Chief Architect (OCA).
The Process Manager must have extensive experience and technical knowledge of CMMI, ITIL®, and ISO 20000 processes. The Process Manager will direct Vanguard 2.2.1 personnel to execute Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM), Event Management, and Knowledge Management processes that apply across the IRM technical enterprise.
Description of Duties
Will routinely collaborate with senior Department of State personnel (Senior Executive Services (SES), Government Service (GS), and Foreign Service Officers), to include presentation of technical briefings and status reporting.
Will direct process improvement efforts assigned to collaborative teams (comprised of both Vanguard 2.2.1 personnel, U.S. Government employees, and other support contractor personnel) in the implementation and execution of IT service management (ITSM) best practices.
Responsible for the creation and establishment of continual service improvement plans and processes.
Responsible for all process engineering documentation, including process studies, stakeholder and gap analyses, feasibility studies, process engineering support for IT projects teams, and process improvement project planning and management.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
Bachelors degree in an Information Technology discipline or a related technical degree.
ITIL® Expert certification.
Required Experience/Skills/Attributes
At least five (5) years of experience in providing IT services to a U.S. government customer with a large network architecture that includes both unclassified and classified network systems.
Minimum of five (5) years ITIL® management experience to include the planning and directing of complex ITIL process implementation at an enterprise level of a nature similar in size and scope of IRM.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to multiple levels of the Vanguard 2.2.1 organization and to the customer.
Demonstrated experience in achieving CMMI and ISO 20000 certifications.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office product suite to include Project, SharePoint, and Visio.
Must possess up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging process areas consistent with the ITIL® V3 Process Organizationel.
