Waterfront Training Manager

Manages the implementation and operation of training in support of the Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) training programs at CSCS Waterfront locations. Relevant instruction in the fields of Surface, SCompanyurface, Institute, Strike, C4I, or Ballistic Missile Defense is required. Includes instrution and technical training in support of Aegis Combat system, Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), Tactical Data Links, and other systems that can be used in the ships Combat Information Center (CIC). Instruction includes delivery of Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training, as well as curriculum development and maintenance of courses. Includes multiple instructional delivery methods to include classroom taught, computer based, and distributed training. Includes managing training and curriculum development for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers as well. CSCS program designs and administers training programs to train all levels of personnel. Responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of training curriculum to instruct customer personnel on the utilization of customer products or services. Responsible for reviewing course content, training materials and documentation.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
1. Seven (7) years of Surface Warfare and Training Management including managing a multi disciplined team of training experts.
2. Five (5) of the above 7 years includes developing combat system tactical employment instructional materials and guidelines, assessing training needs and evaluating training effectiveness.
