ServiceTitan's Payroll Solutions Manager serves as the expert and point of contact for all things payroll, advising our internal Product teams and our customers on payroll policies, processes, and best practices. S/he will serve as a trusted advisor in shaping the future of impactful payroll products for our end customers, and in helping our customers be successful in implementing them. We are looking for a candidate who has deep payroll expertise, a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and an obsession for customer success.

As our Payroll Solutions Manager, you will:

Provide expertise and recommendations on payroll processes, policies, and best practices across the United States
Collaborate with x-functional teams including Product and Engineering towards designing and building requirements for payroll functionality
Provide strategic direction to the Product team on payroll features that can best deliver value to our customers
Contribute towards defining the customer facing onboarding and support processes for all payroll related products in ServiceTitan
Lead customer engagement to uncover insights on current customer payroll practices and pain points
Support our customers as they onboard onto and operate ServiceTitan payroll features
Enable other ServiceTitan team members to best enable customers to use ServiceTitan payroll products

To be successful in this role, youll need:

10+ years of experience as a payroll specialist and/or building/implementing payroll related systems
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Deep familiarity with payroll administration, payroll audit, and the application of best practice payroll processes including:
Employee onboarding and withholding setup
Benefit deductions, garnishments, and funds remittance
PTO accrual and consumption
Overtime compliance (FSLA, California, and all others)
Exemplary verbal and written communication skills to facilitate daily interaction with customers
Ability to think both strategically and tactically to operationalize best practices in payroll
Understanding of technology and software platforms, hands on experience operating best practice payroll systems
Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, and work effectively cross-functionally
Results-driven, detail-oriented, and organized self-starter
