As a key member of the HR Leadership team, and reporting to the CHRO, this position leads Dolby's strategic HR Business Partner function for Corporate Functions (CFO, Legal, HR and Marketing) and our newly formed global People Advisory (employee relations) function. This position will partner with leaders to build talent related strategies that align to business results for the organization and focuses on how to create compelling employee experience enabling people to do their best work. The ideal candidate is someone with HR experience and strong business acumen that is comfortable challenging the status quo, working with leaders to identify trends and drive transformational change for our talent and our business. This role serves as a critical partner to the CHRO in ongoing HR transformation.

Strategic HR Planning: Lead the translation of business strategies, objectives and challenges into the appropriate HR actions and initiatives for client groups
Performance Architect: Ensure organization is structured for optimal performance and agility.
Partner with the client leadership advising and and activating leaders around people management, career development, performance coaching for impact
Leverage workforce analytics and strategic planning to develop talent strategies that identify and solve business issues, help leaders to see around corners to address future trends and changes and to the talent landscape.
Change Leader: Serve as influencer an advisor to business leaders on how to build a platform to drive and effectively lead change
Talent and Community Builder: build talent and relationships with formal and informal talent networks to cultivate growth in the organization.
HR Services Broker: Champion a one HR' operating model working in partnership with Centers of Excellence and HR Operations to deliver HR services across client areas..
Lead our newly formed People Advisor team, including employee relations and investigations, lead the development of tools, processes and systems to manage employee relations, and ensure consistency in how employee relations matters are handled globally.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:

15+ years' experience or equivalent in strategic HR business partnering role; 8+ years supporting Sr. Leadership positions.

Strong People Management skills, with proven ability to empower, coach and develop a high performing professional team.
Business or strategic planning experience. Exceptional communication in all interactions; presentation skills; strong listening and coaching skills.
Strategic thinker: able to connect information, processes and events to provide unique insights into how Dolby HR can be strategically utilized by the client base. Understand and diagnose organizational issues.
Influencer: able to build credible relationships with leaders throughout the organization. Ability to build partnerships within HR and other corporate functions.
Change leader: able to anticipate the need for change, consult with clients on effective approaches to change, architect change plans and assist clients with leadership and execution.
Data Driven: Able to use data to drive decision making.
Broad knowledge of employee relations, labor regulations, policies, and best practices in global HR management

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 15 years of experience with a bachelors degree

Advance degree in Human Resources, or Organization Development/Psychology preferred.
