At PNC, our people are our greatest differentiator and competitive advantage in the markets we serve. We are all united in delivering the best experience for our customers. As a(n) Program Manager II within PNC's Transformation & Integration organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

The ideal candidate will have direct working experience as a senior project manager and/or program manager with technology projects. Experience with both infrastructure and software projects is preferred. This role will be focused on PNC's Cloud program, Digital Workplace program, and DevOps program. There will be integration with Cyber Security as well as MIS partners to ensure overall success.

Required Skills:
• Experience leading Datacenter projects and/or Cloud projects
• Working Agile is required, including hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience coaching and teaching team members to use Jira to track work and to apply agile tenets to foster collaboration, and make work visible for leadership. There will be a large focus in shifting people to work in these new ways with new behaviors and mindsets.

The Program Management approach applied to this role will be equal parts:

Job Description

  • Leads a team of project managers to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Typically project size is $10m to $25m.

  • Manages the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; influences project decisions to achieve overall program goals.

  • Oversight and accountability for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program.

  • Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results.

  • Teams with service partners to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels.

Project Management - Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
