As a Universal Branch Specialist within PNC's Retail Branch Network Organization, you will be based in Columbia, SC at the Columbia-Vista branch.
- Develops and delivers a variety of training programs to live audiences. Provides stand-up classroom instruction.
- Developing, managing and delivering training using the Instructional Systems Design process to attain learning objectives and meet learners' needs.
- Developing training materials in relation to organizational needs, learners' backgrounds and course objectives to ensure the consistency of quality and accuracy of content.
- Ensuring a variety of learning styles can be met by selecting appropriate methods and media for instructional delivery.
- Monitoring participant progress and instructional program effectiveness; establishing and maintaining a learning environment to actively and freely promote learner engagement and participation.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Adult Learning: Theory and Practice - Knowledge of the concepts and practices of adult learning, and the ability to apply these concepts and practices to workplace activities.
Coaching Others - Knowledge of coaching concepts and methods; ability to encourage, motivate, and guide individuals or teams in learning and improving effectiveness.
Live Instruction - Knowledge of and ability to deliver live training courses to facilitate audience learning.
Mediated Instruction - Knowledge of and the ability to use technology to facilitate teaching and learning activities.
Sales Training - Knowledge of sales training methodologies; ability to ensure that sales and sales management employees have the knowledge and skills required to meet both tactical and strategic sales objectives.
Storytelling - Knowledge of concepts and ability to plan, create and present business proposals, initiatives and ideas by f ¦storytelling fâ? actual business scenarios that are situation-specific, engaging, memorable and persuasive as compared to one-way, fact-based presentations.
Training Programs Management - Knowledge of and ability to design, implement, evaluate and develop an organization , ¦s training programs to achieve high business performance.
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
