Vermont Law School invites applications for a Visiting Legal Writing faculty member to join the Legal Writing Department during the 2 academic year.




Candidates must hold an ABA-accredited J.D. law degree. Applicants who have experience teaching, clerking, or other equivalent practices or academic experience are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will need to relocate to Vermont no later than August 2021 for the 2021-22 school year.

The successful candidate will teach two sections of Legal Writing II and two sections of Appellate Advocacy. In addition, there is an opportunity to serve as the Legal Writing Specialist.

The successful candidates will have ample time to focus on scholarship and be afforded access to the Law School's library and related resources.
